ABOUT Me

Hello! My name is Phillip Scrimshaw, and I am a wildlife photographer based out of Seattle in the United States. For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for all things wildlife. After many years of working the typical 9-5 day job, I grew disillusioned and wanted to experience real adventure. In 2021 I made my first trip to east Africa, and since then the safari life has taken hold of me and never let go.

I never considered myself a photographer, but that initial trip inspired me to take it up seriously and make a name for myself in this industry. I try to make it to the continent as often as possible, but there is plenty of amazing wildlife that I find myself photographing here in the States as well.

I hope you enjoy my gallery of work, and maybe I can inspire others to enjoy the wonders of nature in the same way that so many have inspired me.
